Pre-prep Learning Enquiry

What better way to launch our new learning enquiry 'Mechanical Mayhem' than with a trip to Brighton Toy Museum. Travelling by train we headed for the museum - underneath the train station. We were wowed by their selection of over 12,000 toys - some as old as our great great grandparents. We explored the museum, created stories, took part in a Meccano challenge, met old and new teddy bears, discovered the different materials used for toys and found out the first toy ever played with was a spinning top over 6000 years ago! Fun fact- did you know teddy bears used to be stuffed with straw?
