Fantastic Fayre Highlights

News
November 9, 2021

Way back at the start of September, our seniors were challenged to pitch their business ideas to Mr King. Year 7 were delighted to win their first choice business, which was an Events Management company, and on Friday 5th November we saw all their planning and hard work come to fruition with their brilliant Autumn Fayre.

As well as games and stalls, Year 7 had organised a whole day of home clothes or fancy dress and as well as a pumpkin carving competition. They had also created a series of themed activities: paint your own pumpkin coaster, using wood from the school grounds; pumpkin pong and  Autumn temporary tattoos. In addition they were selling pumpkin balloons, homemade toffee apples, strings of sweets, and were even taking orders for Christmas with their hand crafted reindeer decorations!

A fantastic time was had by all and a huge congratulations must go to these budding entrepreneurs and their dedicated tutor team for all their hard work and organisation. We can't wait to see what's next on their agenda!
