GCSE Geography Residential
At the start of October , Year 10 Geographers visited Bristol on their GCSE Geography field visit, to visit their major UK urban area case study, and to gather field data to use for their human geography investigation. Walking through Harbourside and Bedminster, as well as visiting other key sites in the city, allowed our geographers to get a sense of their location, as well as being able to assess the success of regeneration projects. On the way home, they also stopped off on the Jurassic Coast, which will feature as a main case study in the Physical Geography paper, visiting Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, significant coastal features on the coastline. We firmly believe being able to see the learning is one of the best ways to learn!
