Science Week/UK Biology Challenge

This term, students have taken part in two exciting and prestigious national competitions / challenges for the school, the UCL British Science Week posters competition and the UK Biology Challenge and we have recently had the results.

The UK Biology Challenge was completed by a group of our Go Beyond Year 9 and 10 scientists, competing against 42,000 students around the country. From our cohort, we had one student achieve a Gold award (5% received this nationally), two achieved Bronze awards (15% nationally), one highly commended and two commended. This is a fantastic achievement, and we are excited to see where we go with this in the future!

The posters submitted during British Science Week were incredible, and we wanted to give recognition and praise to some outstanding efforts from across our school, particularly:

• Prep School: Eddie  and Elliott

• Senior School: William, Emie and Myla

Special mention to:

• Pre-Prep: Aria

• Prep School: Pippa, Freyja and Margot

• Senior School: Emily and Theo
