Over the past term, Years 3 to 6 participated in the first ever GreatBallard Science Fair. To celebrate the school's Centenary, students needed tocarry out their own Science project on the theme of "time'. They completedweekly homework tasks to help them plan their experiments, includingidentifying variables, writing a method and drawing a results table. Over halfterm students sourced cardboard and other items to make their own displayboards and they got started with the fun part: experiments!

After the Easter break, Lab 2 became a hive of activity with experiments andboard construction; it was wonderful to see the children so excited and engagedin their learning. The Science Fair was a huge success, and the children wereso proud to share their work with their peers, parents, staff, and guests. Wecan't wait to see what next year brings!

A special thanks go to both Ms. Manley and Miss. Johnson for their hard workand enthusiasm leading this project and getting students enthused about realscientific processe
