Pupils get creative for National Poetry Day

On Thursday 7th October, to celebrate National Poetry Day the whole school participated in a sensational Poetry Slam.

Starting in Pre Prep the pupils promenaded through the school listening to performances from every year group. We enjoyed a wonderful echo poem in the Pre Prep garden; a medley of group performances by the juniors on the front lawn; narratives and raps by the prep school on the back terrace and heartfelt personal pieces by the seniors on the Lutyens staircase and top corridor.

That so many of this year's poems were not merely performed but also written by the students made the event extra special. We are already looking forward to next year.
