Pitch Perfect in Science

 

The labs were filled with music this week as Year 4 were lucky enough to be visited by a guitar maker during their Science lesson. It was a great way to see how sound waves are produced by vibrations and to learn how different lengths and thicknesses of string changed the pitch. Lovely to see our hands on learning curriculum in action.

The Spartans hosted a charity dog walk and bake sale to support the Dogs' trust, their chosen charity for the year. There were children's treats, dog treats, and plenty of Easter treats on a gloriously sunny final day of term.
