Last week marked the first week of Great Ballard Combined Cadet Force.  Our small contingent of cadets, from Year 8 and 9, joined forces with the Grenadier Guards CCF contingent at Chichester Free School.  Cadets worked on navigation skills and skill at arms, preparing for a military skills competition between different contingents.  We're really excited to be working with the CCF team at CFS: the partnership is mutually beneficial as they have some excellent expertise in the cadet programme, whilst Great Ballard can offer superb grounds and expertise on water (and in the woods!).  We are excited for the opportunities this will open up to cadets, who can join from Year 8 onwards.
