Eartham House is a magnificent, historic, country house set in its own extensive stunning grounds in the beautiful Sussex countryside on the southern edge of the South Downs National Park. As well as being the home of Great Ballard School, an independent day and boarding prep school for boys and girls since 1961, the House is available for a variety of uses during the year.

The house still has many of its original Regency features but has been extended over the years and finally remodelled for Sir William Bird at the beginning of the 20^th century by the famous British architect, Sir Edwin Lutyens.  It has had many famous owners and visitors over the years including poets, sculptors and MPs. Its location and ambience makes it ideal for weddings, private functions, business meetings and promotions and it is also ideally situated for groups wishing to stay. Having successfully hosted many UK and overseas student visits over the years, we are able to offer holiday time accommodation for groups ranging from educational visits, touring sports teams, choirs or other activity groups. We are particularly well placed for those wishing to explore the South Downs National Park, the city of Chichester, the south coast and the historic town of Arundel and all surrounding villages.
