The Benefits of Form 7 & 8

During their final two years, children at Great Ballard will follow the 13+ Common Entrance syllabus which provides pupils with acknowledged broad and high quality education and fantastic foundation for their chosen senior school.

In Form 8, our children are 'top of the school' and all are given responsibilities which include prefect, sports captains, Head of House and Head of School roles. These opportunities do not occur in a secondary school at ages 12-13 and are important for developing personal qualities, such as leadership, a sense of service and pride and increased levels of maturity.

The Head works with parents, children and teachers to help identify the most suitable senior school to suit the needs of the pupil. Pupils mature into young adults in a small caring environment and are able to take on responsibilities at a young age.
