Charities

Every year, a charity is chosen in the school and the children, staff and parents work together to raise awareness of the charity within the school community and money for the charity. It has always been considered within the school that as well as providing funds for a deserving charity, the pupils develop and learn to be kind, considerate and compassionate to others whilst also learning that doing something for someone else is good and can be great fun too.

The children take part in non-uniform days, sponsored events, charity sales as well as specific organised events.

Over the years, charities have included Canine Partners, The HoneyPot, Sports Relief, Snowdrop Trust to mention just a few and the children have always enjoyed learning about the charity as well as fund raising.
