Management structure

Great Ballard School is a private limited company and does not have a board of governors.  The school management board consists of Mrs. Susan Jay, Mr. Brian Jay, Mr. Christopher Jay, Jonalyn Mills (Acting Headmistress), Mr Jonathan Mills (Deputy Head - Pastoral), Mr Terry Hockley (Bursar), Mr Mike Piercy (Head of the New Beacon School) and Mr Andrew Crawford (former partner Thomas Eggar, LLP, Solicitors)

 The Educational Advisory Board includes:

Mr. Jonathan Mills (Deputy Head – Pastoral), Mrs. Clare Thomas (Deputy Head – Curriculum) and Mrs. Susan Payne (Head of Pre-Prep).

 Together  with a range of outside members including:-

 Mr. Jonathan Gillespie, Headmaster, Lancing College, Mr. Mike Piercy, Headmaster, The New Beacon School, Mrs. Carolyn Shaw, retired Headmistess, Roedean School, Mr. David Clark, Registrar, Hurstpierpoint College, Miss Katie Potter, previous Head of Dunannie Pre-Prep and joint Head, Great Ballard Pre-Prep, Mrs. Linda Waite, retired Deputy Head/Head of Pre-Prep, Great Ballard, Mrs. Rosemary Potter, retired Principal, Djanogly Technology College and Director of Edu China Agency and Mr. Simon Lockyear, Second Master, Portsmouth Grammar School.
