Nearly 100 children from Great Ballard School took part in a Fun Fitness morning to raise money for the NSPCC. The activities included a dance workout; balloon ‘keepy-upy’; obstacle challenge; skipping; aerobics; fun run and a hockey skills session. All the pupils aged from 5 – 13 years competed in all seven challenges, with each challenge lasting for seven minutes, with only three minutes to race to their next activity. Mrs Evans, who organised the Fun Fitness morning said, ‘Everyone enthusiastically participated and had huge smiles on their faces, even though they were ready to collapse by the end of the session. The children did amazingly well and managed to raise a fantastic £1582.05 for this important children’s charity. Thank you to all who pupils who took part and to parents for sponsoring and helping your children with their sponsorships.
