International Curriculum and activities


Excellent exam results for Year 8 CE pupils. All in the last 20 years have gained places at their chosen senior schools, often with scholarships.

Traditional academic subjects – English, Maths, Science, French, Humanities, together with IT, DT, Art, Music, sports and activities.

Taught by subject specialist teachers with dedicated rooms for science, art, DT, ICT, music, drama, cookery, library and a covered swimming pool.

Class sizes are no larger than 20 and international students join their classmates subject to attending additional group/ individual TEFL lessons.

Fully accredited with Ofsted with ISI with regular inspections.

A full sporting/activity programme is undertaken daily including football, rugby, hockey, cricket, netball, rounders, gymnastics, athletics and tennis.

Day and residential trips are arranged together with use of the school grounds of 12 hectares (of woods and countryside) to enhance learning.

A full programme of weekend activites is provided including trips to local places of interest, towns and cities, exploration of coast and countryside.

Activities offered include: golf, swimming, dance, mountain-biking, horse riding, cookery, pottery, photography and sailing.
