Great Ballard School

All children learn to compete and give of their best both for teams and for themselves, and those who do not shine on the sports field will find some other area of enjoyment  from our activity programme. Enjoyment is the top priority although the acquisition of skills and the ability to cope with success and failure are also important. Everyone receives specialist coaching in all major sports and there are regular matches against other schools.

Sports include Football, Rugby, Hockey and Cricket for Boys and Netball, Hockey and Rounders for Girls. All participate in Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country. There is some form of sporting activity every day.
