The Nursery
The Nursery offers children from 2½ to 4 years a secure, friendly and happy working environment. For some it is their first time away from their parents so it is vital that they feel 'at home' and look forward to their learning because it is fun.
We see parents informally on a daily basis and we are always happy to discuss any aspects of their child's schooling and welfare.
Flexible arrangements are available in the Nursery: Children may arrive from 8:15, and the first session finishes at 12:00 with lunch for those staying at 12:15. A holding class is provided after school until 5.30pm (for which a small charge is made). There are also 'fun weeks' arranged during the holidays.
Virtually all children move on to our Reception class the September after they become four and in preparation for that, start building towards the full day (3.15pm) during the Summer Term.
We are registered with West Sussex County Council's 'Early Years Scheme" for children aged 3 and 4 and parents may claim a contribution towards a maximum of five sessions a week.
